With a background as an entrepreneur and business consultant, he has raised private capital, secured government funding, and supported companies in scaling operations and expanding internationally. Originally from Germany, Chris has built and advised ventures across North America and is actively engaged in strengthening the regional startup ecosystem.

Canem is the founding Executive Director of Endeavor Heartland, where she has led efforts to support high-impact entrepreneurs across the region since 2019. With 20 years of finance experience, she previously held senior roles at Axonic Capital and Goldman Sachs, specializing in credit risk and financial structuring. Born in Istanbul and raised in New York, Canem now lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she is deeply engaged in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. She serves on several regional boards and is a passionate advocate for food allergy research.
